My home sweet home last weekend @ascottph Makati. Truly, it was one of the best staycations I’ve ever had because aside from the beautiful people who visited for dinner, games, and kwentuhan, the one-bedroom suite was so spacious, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Marketed as a business hotel, Ascott Makati is more than just that. It is a home away from home where you can do your work, relax, and entertain your guests very comfortably. Amenities are complete with a fully-functioning kitchen, dining area, living area, masters bedroom with a California King Bed (we drowned in the sheets!,) bathroom and bathtub (my favorite,) laundry room and ironing room! Situated at the heart of the Makati CBD, the hotel is surrounded by malls (Landmark, Glorietta, SM Makati, Greenbelt) and restaurants where you can enjoy your leisure time and feel like a part of the community. Really, what more can you ask for? 🤩 I certainly didn’t expect such a wonderful experience so I’m very grateful for the sweet birthday treat and for the chance to gather my loved ones in one space. When you have a healthy breakfast that looks and tastes this good, you know it’s gonna be a great day. 😋 For a few years now, I’ve been making it a daily habit to include nutritional supplements in my meals as I transition into a holistic and healthy vegan diet (still not yet there as I’m taking my time but never slacking on the work. 😉) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Given my active lifestyle, I realized the importance of protein in increasing my energy levels, optimizing brain function, and helping my muscles recover.
